Class

At the C1 level, the learner is no longer just autonomous but becomes extremely fluent and sophisticated. They are capable of using the language flexibly for social, academic, and professional purposes, grasping nuances of meaning, irony, and cultural subtexts without any apparent effort.

Listening Skills

• Understanding a wide range of long and demanding oral texts, even those that are not clearly structured and where relationships are only implied.
• Effortlessly following specialized debates, academic lectures, complex radio or television broadcasts, even in the presence of background noise or fast speech rates.
• Understanding various regional Italian accents, colloquial registers, and widespread dialectal expressions used in spoken language.

Speaking Skills

• Expressing oneself spontaneously, fluently, and naturally, without much obvious searching for words or grammatical structures.
• Using language flexibly and effectively for social, professional, and academic purposes, integrating subthemes, developing specific points, and rounding off with an appropriate conclusion.

Reading Skills

• Vocabulary: Possession of a vast lexical repertoire. Natural use of rare synonyms, archaic yet still active idiomatic expressions, neologisms, and specialized terminology from various fields (economics, law, science, art).

Cultural Awareness

• Deep understanding of Italian society, its recent history, politics, bureaucracy, and socio-economic dynamics.
• Ability to decode complex cultural references, literary or cinematographic quotes, and jokes tied to pop culture or Italian tradition.
• Natural adaptation to different Italian socio-cultural contexts (from a formal job interview to an informal chat at a bar).
